Services We Provide
Upward Bound helps students in their efforts to succeed in high school and college by offering the following services:

Occasionally we offer specialized workshops on the weekends for all students. Topics range from college application support to FAFSA completion/scholarship opportunities, guest speakers, etc.
-
Cultural/Educational Field Trips
We have one-day and overnight field trips throughout the year, which expose students to the different opportunities available to them including college campuses, museums, and much more! Past field trips include the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Museum of Tolerance, UC Berkeley, San Diego State and other surrounding universities, and the San Diego Zoo to name a few!

Summer Residential Programs
40 of our 10th-12th graders, who are selected based on academic year participation, are able to have a “college like” experience for 6 weeks during the summer. Activities include staying in the Cal Poly residential halls, taking preparatory course for the upcoming school year, and taking field trips to local sites.
